The contest required the developer to develop an native Telegram app to run on Blackberry 10 devices.
Telegram is an Instant Messaging app that is similar to WhatsApp, LINE etc except that it is more secure and able to run on multiple devices at the same time.
For the contest, the developer can either port the open source Android code or write their own.
For me, I chose to port the open source Telegram for desktop app and make it run on BB 10 devices.
After some mod and hack, I am glad that the app is finally running fast and smoothly on my Z10 (LE) and Q10 (alpha C). 😀
